GENERAL INFORMATION

KPF as an organisation and each of its members individually pay a lot of attention to fair business conduct. We believe that in today's economy companies which base their business on firm ethical principles can gain substantial competitive advantage.

KPF's devotion to business ethics has a practical reflection in the work of the Ethics Commission and in completing an annually updated ethics program.

The Ethics Commission has been appointed in June 2005 by KPF’s General Assembly. The Commission is elected for a biennial term. Its second term has begun in May 2007. Currently the Commission is composed of 9 persons. Its main task is to observe the obedience of the Principles of Good Practice by KPF’s member companies. It also issues opinions on different matters, documents (such as the PFSA’s Canon of Good Practices) and publications (such a consumer lending guides) created by or in cooperation with KPF. The Commission is also responsible for the content of KPF’s different  ethics documents. It also serves consumers by resolving their complaints on KPF members’ breaches of the Principles.
